God is GOOOOOOD!

Man, here we are two weeks away from the big day! There is so much that needs to get done, but somehow I'm not too stressed about it! The Lord is truly amazing and He has everything under control. In Him, I find peace and rest. In Him, I find strength and patience. It's been amazing and I'm so grateful for this ride!

One thing I haven't done enough is thank my mom. All she has done has been truly wonderful! She's the brains of the operation and all I do is say "yes" or "no." Gosh-I'd be a wreck without her. =) I love her and I'm sad that I could not be in town to celebrate Mother's Day with her. (However, I do have a plan for my parents' 27th anniversary this year...I wanted to pay for a bed & breakfast for a weekend for them. Both of them so deserve it and it's the only thing I can think of that will allow them to slip away and only do things for themselves. No kids or dogs to be responsible for, no house duties to be taken care of, and no meals to fix. I don't know if that's fitting or weird or whatever. But I know that I would love to receive that gift after having to wreck havoc over a wedding!)

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise—"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." -Ephesians 6:1-3

I feel that by giving them this gift, I am honoring them. (And making up for all the years I have slacked in giving them gifts! Hahaha) I want them to know how special they are to me and being here these couple of days before the wedding has really made me see that I would be a true wreck without them! Praise the Lord for putting me in this family that has raised me to fear Him and praise Him and seek after Him.

How cool.

Additionally--the wedding is SO close. Tyler has a job! (Praise the Lord!!!) We have a duplex. I have finished my vows. I bought unity candle stuff. I'm looking for a runaway outfit. I am working on the programs. I have purchased my garters. I need to figure up EXACTLY how I want the sanctuary to look. I need to go to Sam Moon's--I'm pumped! I need to mail thank you cards--if you have not received yours, know that is going in the mail ASAP! Well, I have ~15 days to do this! How fun!
